The schools give a framework to develop English, Mathematics, Science Skills, knowledge and understanding in young children. Our School aids in the identification of a student’s strengths and weaknesses and can be used to support learning and development. St. James primary progresses students seamlessly into middle years curricula such as Lower Secondary and IGCSE. Primary provides guidance for curriculum development and classroom teaching and learning. It enables teachers to assess children’s learning as they progress with two optional assessments. Students are assessed in each stage (Class 3 to 8) by the Progression Tests and at the end of each stage VI by the Primary Checkpoint. The test is available in three core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science. The checkpoint will be taken by the students at the end of each session. All students will be awarded the Certificate of Achievement at the end of primary schooling.
